DAWN Launches Retro Cyberpunk T-Shirt Collection Featuring TV Head Designs

DAWN, the avant-garde streetwear brand known for its bold and futuristic designs, has just dropped its highly anticipated Summer 2025 Collection, blending retro cyberpunk aesthetics with a surreal twist. The latest lineup features an array of TV head-themed t-shirts, perfectly complementing the brand’s in-store TV head mannequins, creating an immersive shopping experience.

A Nod to Retro-Futurism

The new collection draws inspiration from classic cyberpunk and Y2K aesthetics, reimagined with DAWN’s signature edge. The standout designs feature glitchy TV heads and distorted static effects making each piece a wearable piece of digital art.

Top Sellers: "Busy Bee, Busy Me" & "The Cyberpunk Boys"

Among the most sought-after designs in the series are:

  • "Busy Bee, Busy Me" – A vibrant, glitch-art t-shirt depicting a TV-headed Bee, symbolizing modern day busy life!

  • "The Cyberpunk Boys" – A nostalgic yet eerie design featuring a gang of young TV-headed robots, reminiscent of early 2000s. With all sorts of poor decisions made by governments around the world, it is best to leave the future to these boys. Perhaps, it is safer in their hands.

Walk in customers have praised the collection for its nostalgic yet forward-thinking vibe, with many noting how the shirts seamlessly match DAWN’s in-store mannequins, which sport the same retro-TV head aesthetic.

Due to the overwhelming response from Shanghai events, some designs are already selling out fast. DAWN’s creative director, Phyoe Lynn, shared: "This collection is a love letter to the digital age—where analog nostalgia meets cyberpunk rebellion. The customers are satisfied with the quality of the fabric as well as very unique design which people can't find it on China's online market place like Taobao. They feel special to be wearing something different."

The Summer 2025 Back to 80s Collection is now available online and in select DAWN flagship stores.
